Et kategori A-projekt har potentielt væsentlige påvirkninger på miljømæssige eller sociale forhold i henhold tilOECD Common Approaches.

EKF offentliggør information om alle kategori A-projekter, minimum 30 dage før vi beslutter, om EKF kan deltage.

Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm

The project is an offshore wind farm located approximately 8 km off the west coast of Taiwan. The wind farm will consist of 80 wind turbines with a total capacity of 640 MW. The wind farm is classified as a category A-project according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws, the IFC Performance Standards and OECD Common Approaches.

Delaro, Mexico

25 september 2019

The project is an onshore windfarm located in the municipality of Reynosa in the northeastern part of Mexico. The project will consist of 27 Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy turbines and have a capacity of around 117MW.

The project is classified as a Category A-project according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws and regulation, the Equator Principles and OECD Common Approaches.

Formosa 2 Offshore Wind Farm

The project is an offshore wind farm located approximately 5 km off the west coast of Taiwan. The wind farm will consist of 47 wind turbines with a total capacity of 376MW. The wind farm is classified as a category A-project according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws, the IFC Performance Standards and OECD Common Approaches.

Standard Gauge Railway Line (SGR) Project Dar es Salaam – Makutopora, Tanzania

27 June 2019
The Danish Export Credit Agency (EKF) is considering a guarantee for financing of equipment and services to the state owned Tanzanian Railway Corporation’s (TRC) project ‘Dar es Salaam to Dodoma Standard Gauge Railway Project’ (SGR Project).

The current SGR project involves construction of approximately 541 km of electrified railway between the cities of Dar es Salaam and Dodoma, largely following the alignment of an existing metre gauge railway (MGR) built during the early 1900s. The new railway will be used for both passenger and freight traffic. The new SGR Project constitutes a first step in realizing the Government of Tanzania’s intention to construct a total of 1,219 km of connecting Dar es Salaam to Mwanza - located on the shore of Lake Victoria.
 
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws and regulation, IFC Performance Standards and OECD Common Approaches.

Shchekinoazot ammonia plant/Russia

28 May 2019
Located in the Tula region of Russia, the plant will have a capacity of 500 tons of ammonia per day. Shchekinoazot has selected Haldor Topsoe as licensor of ammonia technology for the construction of a new ammonia plant.
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to OECD Common Approaches. EKF is assessing the project against IFC Performance and relevant sector specific and general Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.

San Lupo Wind Farm Project, Italy

27 February 2019
The project is a wind farm located in the southern part of Italy in the municipalities of San Lupo and Pontelandolfo in Campania Region. The wind farm will consist of 16 turbines with a total capacity of 48 MW. The wind farm is classified as a category A-project according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws, the IFC Performance Standards and OECD Common Approaches.

Tres Mesas 3 and 4, Mexico

28 January 2019
The two wind farms are located in the northern part of Mexico in the municipality of Llera de Canales, in the state of Tamaulipas. Tres Mesas 3 will consist of 15 turbines with a total of 49.5 MW and a 7.6 km transmission line. Tres Mesas 4 will consist of 24 turbines with a total of 95.7MW and a 7.7 km transmission line.
 
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to OECD Common Approaches. EKF is assessing the project against relevant laws and regulations, Equator Principles, IFC Performance standards and relevant EHS Guidelines.

Wind Project, Norway

The project consists of 4 new windfarms. Two of these windfarms, Stokkfjellet and Sørmarkfjellet, are classified as category A-projects according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws, the Equator Principles and OECD Common Approaches.

Alto Aguan River Valley Irrigation Project, Honduras

23 November 2018
 
The Alto Aguan River Valley Irrigation Project is a project in the Olanchito and Arenal municipalities in the northern Honduras. The Project is initiated by the Government of Honduras, represented by the Secretary of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG). The project objective is to “improve the socio-economic status of the population living in the Alto Aguan River Valley”. This will be achieved by supplying irrigation equipment to selected beneficiaries (app. 400 milk producers) in the area. A total of 4,000 ha will be irrigated. The project consists of 424 irrigation sets and accessories including pumps and generators, two drilling vehicles and training. 
 
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws and regulation and OECD Common Approaches.

SeaMade, Belgium

29 October 2018
SeaMade is a merge of offshore windfarms Seastar and Mermaid both located in the Belgian Part of the North Sea approximately 50 kilometers off the coast of Zeebrugge. The project will consist of 58 wind turbines and have a capacity of around 487 MW.
 
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws and regulation, the Equator Principles and OECD Common Approaches.

Thorsil Metallurgical Grade Silicon Plant/Iceland

Thorsil plans to build and operate a new silicon plant at Helguvik, Iceland, to produce 110,000 tons per year of metallurgical grade silicon.
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to OECD Common Approaches. EKF is assessing the project against IFC Performance and relevant sector specific and general Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.

Moray East, North Sea

Moray East is an offshore windfarm located in the North Sea around Moray Firth about 22 kilometers off the coast. The project will consist of approximately 100 wind turbines and have a capacity of around 950 MW.
 
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to the OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence against relevant laws and regulation, the Equator Principles and OECD Common Approaches.

Ankara-Nigde Motorway Project/Turkey

The Ankara-Nigde Motorway is a Project planned to cross the provinces of Ankara, Aksaray, Konya, Kirsehir, Nevsehir and Nigde, which are located in Central Anatolia. The Motorway will have a total length of approximately 330 km including the main route (around 275 km) and the connection roads (around 55 km).  
 
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to OECD Common Approaches. EKF is assessing the project against IFC Performance and relevant sector specific and general Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.

Huong Linh, Vietnam

The Huong Linh 1 windfarm is an onshore windfarm located in Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri Province in Vietnam. The windfarm will consist of 15 turbines with a total of 30MW. The project is classified as a Category A-project according to OECD Common Approaches. EKF is carrying out environmental and social due diligence and assessing the project against relevant laws and regulations and IFC Performance Standards and relevant EHS Guidelines.

Canakkale Bridge project/Turkey

The project is located in Tyrkey. It comprises 88km of motorway from Malkara to Canakkale including a 3.6km suspension bridge, that will eventually form the western link of the Kinali – Tekirdag – Canakkale – Savastepe Motorway project. 
 
The project is classified as a Category A-project according to OECD Common Approaches. EKF is assessing the project against IFC Performance and relevant sector specific and general Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.
